Silvana Jalinski - professional midwife and anthropologist
I was born in December 1980.
After final secondary school examinations I decided to study midwifery.
I started my work in the university hospital of Jena, there I took care of high risk gravidities and special births.
Following I worked in the hospital of Homberg/ Efze where I learned to combine medical knowledge and complementary medicine.
The wish to assist families in a protected and beneficial ambience directed me to the "birthplace" in Kassel.
A holistic care, orientated to the necessity of each woman and family is very important for me.
I also lived four great years in Argentina with my family. There I could learn a lot of argentine culture, the language and I could spent a lot of time with our four children.
In 2014 I restarted my work as an independent professional midwife in Bad Dürkheim and it is a pleasure for me to assist you in this eventful phase of life which is full of wonder. As 'family midwife' I have the possibility to support families in special situations during the first year of life after birth.
Between 2015 and 2019 I did studies in ethnology and educational sciences in the university of Heidelberg.
